Immigration question:

I am a UK citizen and want to marry my Australian fiancee in Australia. If we do, is the marriage legally recognised in the UK? Also, will she be granted a spouse visa despite two previous failed attempts at a visitor visa since being refused entry to the UK in May 2011 after a mis-understanding at immigration? Thank you

Based on the information you have provided, your fiancee once you are married can apply for Entry clearance as your spouse. But there are other requirements provided under the UK immigration rules to be met by an seeking leave to enter the UK under this category. Her previous immigration history based on the limited information you have provided may not affect her application.

In regards to your first question, the marriage is valid in the UK if it is valid in the place of celebration, in your case, in Australia.
