Suing question:

Credit Card Debt & Info from Court Records: I'm trying to figure out what judgment implies and why the court dismissed the case. Does it mean they are one step closer to garnishing wages? If judge dismisses a case, is the case dropped for good from the court or is there an appeal from the plaintiff?

A Judgement is an Order a Court gives out when it makes a decision. It might be an Order to to pay money to someone or it might be an Order that a person has lost their claim (or many other things besides). It all depends on the wording.

A judgement may also be appealed in certain circumstances so until the appeal process is over you cannot be sure it has gone away for good.
