Almost certainly not. Most Accident lawyers operate on a ‘No Win, No Fee’ basis – which means that you do not have to pay anything.
If you win your solicitor will get all the legal costs from the other side (an insurance company).

An alternative to a no win no fee might be insurance. Check your contents insurance policy for "family legal protection" or "legal expenses insurance". If you have that then your insurers (not you) would pay your lawyer even if you lost the claim.
