Immigration question:

My friend's General Visitor Visa has just been rejected, apparently on the grounds that he has no funds - however we sent evidence that we would and were able to fund his entire stay. He is not working as he has been on missions for 6 months and then expected to come here - otherwise he would be working as a medical doctor. In their response letter, they made mistakes such as getting his nationality wrong and other very basic mistakes showing that they clearly had not paid any attention to the details of his case. Do we have grounds of appeal?
