Suing question:

I am an international student being offered a course by university in UK. My university offered me a place in a course of my choice and its less than a week left for induction while I have received an email from the university that I'll have to choose from another course as this course won't be offered this year due to less people accepting the course. I have left with no choice for the whole year as I didn't accept any other offer from other university and also made lot of expense to made international travel, accomudation, fee deposit arrangements. How can a university do this at this stage with a student, what can I do either to get a place in the same course or are there options for reasonable compensation?
